I got my Shen Long tattoo/Dragon Ball Z done by friend Eryka Jensen at her shop called Erykane Art which is located in Boise Idaho. You can check out her store athttps://www.facebook.com/ErykaneArtThe reason I got this tattoo was because Dragon Ball Z was a major part of why I got into anime when I was growing up and gave me something to look forward to watching after school was out. While everyone knows that DBZ is not the best anime out there it stills holds a special spot in a lot of peoples heart as the anime show to watch while growing up. It took me a long while to choose what I wanted tattoo on me from Dragon Ball Z and in the end I ended up choosing to get Shen Long from because of how cool I thought he would look as a tattoo and he is a badass as well.

My Doctor Who Sleeve Tattoo…Eleven Doctors at once! Gallifrey Stands!

Attached/included is my sleeve of eleven of the Doctors from “Doctor Who”.  The design is based on artwork from Jon Pinto, with the work performed by Tyler Moody from Surreal Tattoo in Kansas City.

I have never seen another Doctor Who tattoo quite like this…I was really aiming for the stars on this one.  Daleks, TARDIS, Tennant/Smith have all been done…have Eleven Doctors ever been done?
I love all things sci-fi/fantasy, with a special love of Doctor Who.  The idea/concept of the lead character battling evil regardless of the odds, consequences, and threats to himself has resonated with me for twenty plus years. That’s something I try to live by; even if it isn’t battling evil, I can still try to be the best person possible, which is exactly what the Doctor does.
…he does run into a few major issues that side-step him, just like any regular person.

This is mine and my daughter’s name written in Circular Gallifreyan. It reads “Haley and Harlow.” I always wanted to have a tattoo related to my daughter and with this one I was able to incorporate my daughter and my love of Doctor Who! (and yes I do see that there is one line that’s not 100% straight and it bothers me, but not enough to hate the entire piece.)
